The weapons have a holy meaning in terms of being a means of carrying out the conquest in the Islamic world and have been kept with great care; they are usually written with protection or decorated with fine workmanship. Protective writings on weapons are widespread.
The gold inlaid mine workmanship seen on the teberies in the Ottoman period provided the glory of the letters, herbal and geometric ornamentations, and the teberies as both weapons and works of art.
