The Mineli Kalkan Vase was adapted from the ornamentation patterns on the shield of the 16th century Ottoman period in the Topkapı Palace Museum.
Mineli Kalkan Vase is made of hand made white opal glass and all of the relief patterns are handcrafted with 24 carat gilding and colored by enamel technique.
