Helmets, which have been used since ancient times and protected the head of the warrior from shocks, are one of the close defense tools. Helmet is a protective weapon, but has been used as a magnificence enhancer in state ceremonies and military ceremonies with its remarkable appearance.
Helmets, which are a work of Turkish handicrafts and construction and decoration techniques, are distinguished from the examples of other cultures. For the construction of the main material metal helmets techniques such as forging, cutting, rivet, casting, chain knitting have been used. In addition, gold, silver and stone inlays, embossing, cutting, sandblasting techniques such as mineral decoration techniques have been applied.
Tolga Şekerlik was designed with the inspiration of a helmet from the 16th century, which was accepted as the most mature period for the Turkish helmets, and exhibited in the Topkapı Palace.
Tolga Sugar Bowl is made of hand-made glass and all of the patterns are handcrafted with 24 carat gold.
Production is limited to 2,000 pieces.
