The Martyrs Monument, located in the Gallipoli Peninsula, is a colonial monument built to commemorate 253,000 Turkish heroes who were killed in the Gallipoli Campaign.
The monument, which is a gift to the martyrs of the Turkish Nation and which is based on four pillars, means that our nation is based on solid foundations and is indestructible. When viewed from a distance, it appears to be the letter M of Mehmetçik (Turkish soldiers). On the ceiling of the monument, there is the Turkish flag.
