The motifs on the Serpush Kavuk were created by styling the designs made on the leather cover of the manuscript Quran of the Ottoman Art, which is one of the most beautiful examples. The body of Serpush Kavuk is colored with glass granules and all the relief designs on the cover part are handcrafted using 24 carat gold gilding. The production is limited to 2000 pieces.
